  Equipment Operator  
  Responsibility includes daily & weekly maintenance of vehicles and equipment. Ensure the safe operation of all equipment & vehicles including but not limited to the completion of trip logs, maintenance and inspection logs as well as safety equipment. You will assist in performing soil remediation, plant decontaminations, above & underground tank removals and emergency response services.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A valid NYS Commercial Drivers License Class B (with tanker endorsement). HAZMAT endorsement a plus. Ability to obtain a HAZMAT endorsement within one year of hire
  • 2-4 years of experience with the operation of heavy equipment such as excavators, tanker trucks and Class B & C trucks. Vacuum Tanker and Geoprobe experience plus
  • Participate in emergency response rotation. Required to be on call for 24 hours, 7 days per week per rotation
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English to properly communicate with fellow employee, vendors and clients
  • Must be able to lift items that can weigh up to 75 pounds on a daily basis.
  • Will work outdoors year round and/or in confined spaces
  • Able to wear a respirator for 4-6 hours per day
